This is NOT working at all in my iPod touch. The iPod touch can connect to it, but not record the voice at all. Since it's very cheap, I could not even think to return it because I don't want to spend my time waiting in line in the post office.

I really like this mic. It picks up sound exceptionally well and I use it all the time. Would recommend it to anyone. It is easy to carry with you and easy to use. Glad I got it!

Basically, I was skeptical if this would even work. Not only is it still working, but the sound quality is decent. For note taking (which this type of mike is designed for) it's great, also my daughter records her voice for games (pretty good quality, and hear the syllabels) and recordings of her clarinet (compressed sounding and not ideal for this use, but better than I thought -- for example audio is better than vids with 2 year old kodak easy share 7mp camera using its built in mic). For $2, you shouldn't expect more than than that. I'm amazed.

after testing i have a new view of this thing! It DOES NOT WORK WITH THE ENV TOUCH the reason is when you plug anything into the 1/8th input on the phone. the phone see's that you have something plugged in and thinks your using a headset "speaker and mic" so it disables the factory speaker in the phone and uses the speaker on the headset. since this is only a mic and does not have a speaker on it you cannot hear anything. when you are in a call the other person can hear you but you cannot hear anything.
