Fun! 2010-01-30 |
| By Muriel Wuillot (Boston, MA) |
| It is a fun singing machine for a 10 year-old, but the screen is a bit small and dark. The video camera works fine but the images are also in black and white... Otherwise, the sound is OK, the features quite awesome. Good value. |

The greatest Christmas disappointment 2009-12-30 |
| By K. Jekal (NJ, USA) |
| We were very excited about this karaoke machine, told everyone about it etc. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for our 7-year old. We got a set of karaoke CDs for him too, and were all ready to open it on Christmas morning to have some family fun! It turned out that the microphone jacks weren't working. The microphone itself was fine, the screen worked ok showing the lyrics, but there was NO WAY to get the mike to work. We even tried a different microphone because we happened to have an extra one at home. Didn't work either so the only conclusion was that the jacks were messed up. It was such a shame. We really loved the idea of singing karaoke at home, and that was supposed to be our best present this Chrisstmas. We had to return it. We were even willing to exchange it but they were out of stock... I guess we'll just use the refund money to buy another one somewhere else and pray that it works :( |
Great sound quality, compact and just plain FUN!! 2009-12-06 |

| I bought this for my 7 year old granddaughter for Christmas but, of course, I had to check it out first. So, I've been playing with it. Not only is it a lot of fun but the sound quality is great. I ordered a second microphone (a $39 microphone on Amazon for only $14.99) so two kids can sing at one time. The built-in camera feature will be a lot of fun for her - allowing her to watch herself sing and dance on TV. There is a wide range of voice and sound control so it makes even the WORST singer (ME!!) sound pretty darn good. Besides the karaoke feature, it plays cassette tapes and you can record yourself singing with a CD - onto a cassette tape and it comes out really well. It's not too technical or difficult to adjust so that even a 6 or 7 year old can really enjoy it. Although it's not a kids toy, the quality is outstanding and I highly recommend it especially for adults but also for children who are old enough to understand how to operate it. One NOTE: you cannot view yourself using the camera function on the monitor that's on the uniti it must be hooked up using the cables supplied, to a television set. |

Its a great way to interact with everyone in the family. The karaoke machine it self is great and super cheap price!
The one thing is that u might need to buy many karaoke cd's to have a good selection of songs. |
